Rebecca's work has stemmed from research and development of
her interest in nature and natural organic objects. As well
as 'RAW' being her initials, this identity accurately describes
much of her artwork which is largely based on examining colour,
form and texture in the natural environment.
She studied at the University of Central Lancashire where she
gained a BA (Hons) in Surface Pattern and a MA in Ceramics.
Rebecca has evolved these skills and produced an impressive
series of abstract canvas work, close-up photography, contemporary
landscapes and experimental ceramic sculptures at her art studio
in the Ribble Valley.
Her work can be seen in collections throughout the north of
England, and Ascot Studios are proud to exhibit a range of her
latest paintings which are based on the dramatic landscape of
the Ribble Valley, Yorkshire Dales and Lake District.
